ABSTRACT
Movies has remained an instrument of entertainment, information and education and it has overtaken more than half of other existing entertainment forms, which equally compete for time and attention of the average citizen. The study employs quantitative descriptive research design to examine the Negative Impact Of Home Video On Academic Performance Of Students.This study was carried out in Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Area.The data for this study were generated from two main sources; Primary sources and secondary sources.From the analysis, the calculated value for agree was greater than the benchmark (2.9>2.5), hence it was concluded that home videos impacts negatively on the academic performance of students.
